Recently I have been realizing that I am 'finding my tribe'. Moving to a new area and being at a school where everyone brings something different to the table yet feels like a family member and truly wants you to be amazing is really comforting. I understand that many struggle with finding their tribe especially if you have been in the same place for awhile. Here are some tips that I think about and helped me these past four months.

1. Be mindful and have an intention
Ask yourself what you're really looking for in the people you surround yourself with. The universe supports you no mater what. You just need to keep in mind that there are no accidents.
2. Quiet your Ego
Don’t let your ego’s separation story keep you from belonging. Underneath our egos is Universal energy that unites us all. When we realize the 'Oneness', the illusion that we are alone dissolves and we’re left with what we most crave – connection soul-to-soul.
3. Call out to your tribe
Don’t just sit around and wait for your people to find you. Put your desires out there on social media. Blog about your tribe, take an art class, join a women’s or men’s group, Sign up for a workshop, it's even as simple as taking a weekly yoga class. Find a spiritual community that feels authentic and lights you up. Engage in activities that ignite your soul.
4. Ditch the Judgement
Someone from your tribe might be standing right next to you in the grocery store, but if you label them as “other” because you don’t like their hairstyle or fashion sense or what they put in her shopping cart, you might walk right by the person who could have been your next BFF. If we only hung around people who are like us we would never learn anything new!
